Coaching for performance
Well delivered and appropriate coaching can transform performance, unblock barriers to progress and drive innovation.
It is increasingly recognised that we all have skills, talents, capabilities and potential well beyond those we use in our everyday work.
We don’t use them for a variety of reasons—we might not think them appropriate, be concerned that they do not “fit in” to current ways things are done, or are under confident in our abilities to present them.
We also get “hemmed in” by the amount of work we already have to process. This is no small matter—recent research has indicated we each process around 34 gigabytes of information each day—and that leaves no time for the vital processes of thinking and reflection, both of which are vital to unlocking the unique contributions we can each make to our workplaces.
Facilitating incisive thinking
Coaching is complementary to training. Coaches help the person being coached to think clearly and incisively, address issues and release knowledge and ideas already present but submerged.
The staff at Aspire are qualified executive coaches, having undergone extensive, rigorous certified training over several years.
80% of major companies use coaching as a means to improve overall performance. Used in conjunction with training, it can enhance and accelerate the learning that is required to become an excellent leader.
“Effective coaching in the workplace delivers achievement, fulfilment and joy from which both the individual and the organisation benefit.”
